Sacred Meaning of Maya Ceremony
****CHICHEN ITZA AND THE SERPENT OF LIGHT NOW ADDED****
Experience a deep connection with Mother Earth and Father Sky, experience freedom from fear, experience being one with the universe, experience unconditional love, experience peace: EXPERIENCE MAYA CEREMONY
It is time to take back the responsibility for our spiritual connection, to take action, to do our ceremonies. We invite you to join Miguel Angel and Cynthia in a practical workshop which will take you deep into the Maya Ceremonies to understand and appreciate them on many levels. We want you to take home with you the experience of the healing power of these ceremonies, to apply that to your life, and to bring ceremony into all you do.
At the Workshop you will learn the practical part: the protocol, setting intention, the symbolism of the altar pieces, the invocations, and how to cleanse and protect yourself and others. On the Journey you will participate in ceremonies and practice what you have learned; in sacred sites, in caves, with Mayan Elders, in cenotes, and in Mother Nature.
Ceremony has been missing from our lives for too long. Now is the time to trust our intuition, our instincts, and our insights. Now is the time to do ceremonies to help heal ourselves, humankind, and our Planet Earth. It is a spiritual tool we need to use. The benefits are profound.
"When you kneel in Ceremony and touch Mother Earth, you return to the source of Unconditional Love." Miguel Angel Vergara
We will have three full days at the beach in Campeche for our Workshop. Miguel Angel Vergara and Cynthia Walker received their knowledge of the Maya Ceremonies from the temples, pyramids, sacred books, art, oral traditions, and from the Maya Elders of both Yucatan and Guatemala and are open to sharing it with you.
We will also journey to Maya sites including a visit to Dzibilchaltun on the morning of the Equinox to witness the sun rise through the temple door. We will do ceremony in the sites, in caves, in cenotes, and at the beach. We will also visit a Maya Elder and participate in one of his ceremonies.
"We are being asked to move out of our fear and into higher consciousness. Ceremony offers us a place to connect directly with the Creator, to know we are not alone. Here we find healing, comfort, direction, a clearing of confusion. Here we learn to trust the Creator. We learn to trust ourselves." Cynthia Walker
